The food was okay, not bad, but not very special either. In return, the restaurant was visually very nice and the staff was nice. The toilets were also neat and clean. So not a must but is okay.

From the outside you would think it was a village pub, but the cuisine here is really good and sophisticated. In summer you can sit outside nicely. A really good address for years, we have never been disappointed.

The Gasthof Marktschänke is a real institution for me. As a boy from Büderich, "Aga" has always been a household name since childhood. All celebrations of families, neighbors, and associations have always been celebrated here wonderfully. People liked to meet here, hospitality was and is always the top priority. In the third generation, it is now a trendy restaurant with excellent cuisine. Always attentive service makes your visit a very pleasant experience. My recommendation and thanks for unforgettable hours !!!

Since we were looking for a location on Mondays, I became aware of them through the Internet and since there were only positive recommendations, we have also opted for it. A great restaurant that I can absolutely recommend both for spontaneous visit, as well as for reservation for larger groups and closed companies. Whether for a healthy light dinner or for an excellent goose meal with exceptionally good side dishes (the roast apple stuffed with marzipan was great) I can recommend the kitchen extensively. The service was always, even with larger companies, always friendly, fast and courteous. The toilets always clean and good smelling (important for women). Every visit we enjoyed to the fullest. As a rule, the owners are on site and always endeavored to fulfill special requests. A dog brought along is always welcome.

Epic portions, most of them should always be enough alternative "small" portion. The menu is varied and the chef understands his craft. In the left bank of the Wesel gastronomic desert, this is a real asset. Since 2018 there are finally a few tables outside, although no beer garden atmosphere can arise. The service is very attentive and fast.

Not recommended!!! A few weeks ago we wanted to come in the evening. Did not reserve. We entered, all tables free! The owner came right up to us and swarmed us. All seats are already occupied. Although everything was free. Then we thought about reserving in advance. That was recently. Telephone reservation 2 people. In response we got to hear "For 2 people we reserve a table, It's not worth it"! Conclusion, never again for us. We can also spend our money elsewhere. If you do not want guests, then the owner should make a club out of it !!

The food is delicious and always a highlight for us. The waiting time can be bridged well. It is always nice there. Staff and operators are always very polite and accommodating. We are happy to eat there.
